An intricate Mexican Huichol yarn painting telling the story of Parikute and the scorpion myth. I love the unexpected mix of bright blue, pink and yellow, and how the closely laid strands of yarn soften the bold shapes. The original bilingual story label remains on the reverse, with some loose and missing yarn around the edges of the painting. A very special piece.
Dimensions: 11.75″ × 11.75″
Please look through all photos carefully before purchasing. Vintage and antique pieces will often show signs of age, wear and previous life. These quirks are part of what makes them special. All items are sold as-is and all sales are final.
